I have developed a concept for funding that I think makes total sense and could raise all the capital needed to pay for such projects without the need for government subsidies. If this plan is ever adopted I think the results will be impressive. The plan uses some of the core elements of energy co-ops, retail-wheeling, and net-metering but avoids the various negatives of those individual schemes. I believe that we can readily fund as much wind and solar as the country could hope to use.
